  how to add meta tag to my site? i do not see any edit theme option in m wordpress blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can’t on a free hosted WordPress.com blog, nor do you need to. Please see here for instructions for verifying your blog ownership with the major search engines.

  Matt Cutts of Google stated 2 years ago that Google no longer uses meta data. Cutts states in his September 21, 2009 blog entry Google doesn’t use the keywords meta tag. Here’s the link to official entry in the Webmaster Central blog. Here’s the link to the video. Despite this there are still those claiming it’s required when it isn’t.

  WordPress.com is a multiuser blogging platform. All blogs here wearing the same theme are using the underlying same template. Only Staff can access and edit templates, as every edit made affects all blogs wearing the same theme.
