Inserting new text and images to a layout

  Hi. I’ve been using my blog template for a few years but i can’t insert text (paragraphs) between photos the way i used to. I’m trying to insert a paragraph of text between two specific uploaded images but the text ends up elsewhere. I also do not know how to insert a new photo between two uploaded images. Can you help? I am not versed in code…
