Inserting photos into newly created blog.
-
I just created a new post and have it saved as draft. I went to insert multiple illustrations from my computer, and found the new system impossible to use. I was very comfortable with the ease of operation for inserting photos and captions on all my other posts, but can’t seem to use the new system. What can I do?

I have found when I want to use multiple photos it is easier to upload them to Media with a bulk upload, then add the captions and alt tags. Once that is done I go back to my post and enter them.
I hope that is helpful.

The new one works pretty much like the old one, you just drag and drop the photos from a file on your computer to the large rectangle that you see in the photo editor. Then, when they’re all there (you’ll see that below the large rectangle) you can either click ‘save changes’ and insert them as a gallery or slideshow into your post, or use the photos individually from your media library, as before.
This updated Support page has instructions and screenshots that should help you:
If this isn’t the problem you’re having, would you please give us a more detailed explanation – most of us here are volunteers, by the way.
