Inserting pictures

I have been having terrible problems trying to insert pictures into my Blog (at http://www.elspeththompson.co.uk). When I try to download a pic, the “background screen” showing the Blog post now goes grey and sort of freezes, and when I press “Insert into Post” nothing at all happens. Have tried using different download methods and different sizes, but no change. The system seems to have changed slightly over the past three months since I first started using Word Press – find it harder to size pics now, too. I have wireless broadband, and was able to upload/insert images fine before. Is anyone able to help me with this, please? I have noticed from checking forums that there do seem to be some problems at moment. Or would you recommend using the ‘Feedback’ option once it is up?

There is no need to post the exact same thing in multiple threads. It only slows down the volunteers’ ability to help you. Read the other threads on the issue and you’ll find many workarounds and suggestions.

Exact same problem here. Here is what it looks like:
How do we get someone to take notice of this problem and fix it? I have the latest FireFox and the latest Flash and I’ve cleared my cache and the photo is not too large and I’ve waited several hours… no luck.
