Inserting pictures not working

  I’m trying to add a post with a picture that I imported from a camera. WordPress does one of two things (I have tried this 10x):

  1. I get a black screen and chrome tells me wordpress has stopped responding
  2. The image is displayed but when I press the back button, the post is empty.

  I have tried selecting the picture from a gallery and using file manager after reducing the image size considerably.

  Any help appreciated

  When you reduce the size, also rename the file before uploading it.

  Yes I had already done that.

  I just tried this using chrome & just going to the website & it works fine selecting the photo.

  app is borked.

  I’ll just use chrome.
