Inserting Read More Tabs on Pages

  Let me begin by saying that I am very new to all of this but am trying to get better. I have a site http://mathiasmethod.com/ that has a lot of information. My issue is that my audience generally does not want to read a lot. They want direct and to the point. So I have taken each topic and condensed it into one or two important lines under the topics but I need to back it up with a lot of info. That is where a read more tab would come in handy but I am told that they do not work on pages. Every time I insert one it just makes the later information into a new paragraph. Is there a css code that allows me to make read more tabs work on my pages? Do you have any ideas on how I can present only some material with an option to read more if so desired, in a professional way?
