Inserting read more tag problems

  Inserting the read more tag is chopping off part of my blog. Has been working fine but now is screwing with my text. Anyone else having this problem?

  I removed the read more code so the page would display properly. even after removing it at first it chopped off parts of content. Had to copy the entire post into wordpad and copy it back to wordpress in order for it to display properly without the read more code.

  Also originally when i first inserted the read more tag it didn’t show in the visual page, but went to the very bottom of the page instead of where I wanted it. Dont know if this is a glitch that needs reported or what.
