inserting several galleries in same post

  I need to insert three or four sets of photos into a post I’m working on but can’t figure out how to tell WP to put only 4 or 5 pics in one gallery, another 4 or 5 in a second gallery, etc. Instead, I keep getting all 20 pics in one gallery. I’m sure there’s some incredibly easy thing I haven’t learned or remembered how to do. I’m hoping someone can help me figure this out. Thx!

  To add multiple galleries
  1) Upload multiple images from your computer.
  2) Add them into the post via add gallery. Don’t add any parameters manually i-e gallery should look like this [gallery]
  3) Add exclude=xx,xy,xz” in the first gallery as [gallery exclude=xx,xy,xz"] and [gallery include="xx,xy,xz"] in the second and so on.

  Where to get the image attachment id?
  To get an attachment ID for an image, go to your Media Library and hover over the image title you want to exclude. You can find the ID in the URL (the number after attachment_id=).
