Inserting Sitemeter Code
-
my sitemeter stopped working; the code needs to be restored. should i use the html code or the java script and where should it be inserted?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have to use the non_JavaScript code. You simply copy and paste it into a text widget and that’s it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/

Thanks. I attempted to do that before I posted. Nothing looked familiar and wouldn’t allow me to insert the html code.
I was surprised that the simple act of changing my template and/or making the SiteMeter private would cut off ALL recording of traffic information.

Thanks again. I just re-installed the counter a few minutes before reading musicdoc1’s response.
The only thing that still concerns me is what will happen if I elect to have that link set to “invisible”. Will it continue to track the statistics or will it be rendered inoperable – again.
For that, I’ll need to check my account tomorrow to see whether things are again being tracked. Then another day of allowing it to live in “invisible” status and then check what happened.
