inserting swf files

  hello

  I have a swf file that i would like to embed on my blog, but as far as i know you can’t embed swf on wordpress.com due to security issues. Is there any workaround i can do to change that? the swf file isn’t a movie so i can’t convert it to a movie format then upload it to eg. youtube.

  You could upload the SWF file to http://screencast.com and link to it OR search Google for a video Video conversion tool

  i already have it linked, what i really want to do is embed the swf object.
  The swf that i want to embed isn’t a movie so i can’t simply “convert it”.

  Unfortunately we can’t upload SWF files because of security reasons so the link option is your only option unless you can convert it some how.

  to embed a file you don’t need to have it hosted on the localhost it can be elsewhere, so i have my file hosted on another site the only problem is that wordpress doesn’t let me use javascript
