Hi,
I am in need of a table on the “Our Team” page in order to properly organize profile images. I have noticed a few different methods mentioned, is there an easy method?
Thanks,

Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality. You are confusing WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM. For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted site running on a paid web hosting service.

I make my own HTML tables and there are how to posts on my blog.

And, another good reference is here http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp
Note that if you use Windows then Windows Live Writer it has a tablemaker > http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/windows-live-writer/ Note: Firefox users on Windows machines may need to clear the browser cache with ctrl+shift+del in order to get Firefox to recognize the formatting. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/posting-of-word-files-with-tables?replies=6

Hi,
I am not confusing wordpress.org, I know there is no upgrade or blogger installed plugin or I wouldnt have posted on CSS forum. Instead, I am looking for a good way to insert a table into one page using html tables which you provided above.
I just wondered if there was one particular method that was easier than others.
Thanks,
Ami -
There is no CSS solution to your issue. I posted exactly what options are available to us above. Creating your own HTML tables in posts and pages is not difficult.

In addition, I was also wondering if when placing a table into a page, we can make the actual borders of the table invisible. Or if there is a better/easier way to have profile images sit side by side such as the profiles shown here (see below), that would be even better. This is what I am trying to achieve:

I located some information for you here http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_table.asp
The border attribute of <table> is not supported in HTML5. Use CSS instead. CSS Example: Add borders to a table
In that CSS tutorial you can find more details about table borders.

so, if I understand you correctly, I can insert an html table but then I have to use css to adjust the table once I have inserted it? Can I get assistance with this portion?
Thanks,
Ami -
I don’t help with CSS editing, but yes you can get help with that and you will get help with it, as soon as another Volunteer who provides that service, or Staff work their way forward to this thread.
-
I don’t appreciate the way you’re responding to my support question so I would prefer to speak with someone else. Can you please forward this to someone who can provide CSS support without the attitude?
Thanks,Ami

I have a helpful attitude and if you cannot perceive that it’s unfortunate. Staff answer CSS editing questions in support threads like this one. They answer all threads in order of datestamps (earliest posted are first served), as they work their way forward to the most recent ones. All that is required is your patience while waiting. I assumed you would want to create your table while you are waiting and have them assist you with tweaking it when they got to this thread.

I understand how the portal works and have used it numerous times. I have no problems with patience but do not find your responses respectful which is why I would prefer to speak with someone on the CSS forum that can perform CSS editing…with a better attitude. No need to respond please. I would prefer to speak with someone else. What I am doing in the meantime is none of your concern.

Hi Ami, we can help you with the code for a table and the CSS to style it the way you want it. The one thing with tables is that they do not typically scale well for smaller screens such as phones and tablets.
How many columns are you talking about using in this table?

Hi,
I spoke with support who told me to try portfolio to see if that would meet my goals and I believe it has. The only thing I would like to change via css would be the font and size of font associated with the portfolio. Its rather large. Its on the “our team” page if you would like to take a look.
Thank you!

We can help with the fonts. There are some limitations on font family, so if you can let me know what you are wanting to change them to, I can see what I can do. The following targets this page only using the page id body CSS class.
On font size of “Our Team”
.wf-active .page-id-87 .page-header .page-title { font-size: 4.24rem; }On Lawyers & Professional Staff, I would suggest opening that page in the editor and then switching to the Text tab in the editor and adding a style declaration to the h2 tag, if you wish to change the size of that on that page only. Change the opening h2 HTML tag to look like this and then edit the size as desired.
<h2 style="text-align: center; font-size: 38px;">
If you are wanting to change the size of the “Our lawyers and law clerks… paragraph, I would again suggest changing that from within the editor. In the editor in the opening paragraph tag, do this and edit as desired.
<p style="text-align:center; font-size: 19px;">
