Inserting tags into titles
-
I want to change the colour of text in part of the titles in some of my posts.
To give an example:
“This is a title: The title of a post”I want to change everything after the colon to be a different colour. After reading a bit around the internet it appears that to change the colour with CSS I need the test divided up into separate tags.
As such is there a tag I can implement that will encase everything after a colon in a title that I can then use CSS to alter the colour of?
And if so does anyone know how to do this?

Hello!
What website are you asking about?
To do this on WordPress.com, you will need to upgrade to at least a Premium plan, which allows for CSS editing: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
If you have a standalone website hosted elsewhere, you should be able to do this on your own. You can get some information about CSS on a WordPress.org site here: https://codex.wordpress.org/CSS
We can give you more direction once we know the website in question.
Thanks!
