Inserting text destroys images
-
I’ve used WordPress on an iPad for years, blogging to pebiquity.wordpress.com. All I want to do is insert a photo, then add descriptive text below it, and then repeat until I’m done. I try to keep all of my software up-to-date, but I can’t understand the current version of wordpress.com. When I try to add text to an image, the image below is deleted. The only way to get what I want is to edit the raw html. Surely there is something easier…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I got in the habit of using the text tab, so can’t really speak to your specific issue. I see that you have some recent posts where you accomplished just what you described so I hope you have resolved the issue.
I am sure the new interface offers many strengths, but sometimes popping back to the old one gives you a chance to just relax into what you already know.
You can get to the old dashboard by adding /wp-admin after your site address.

Houston,
Thanks for your reply. I think what you refer to as text, I mean by html, and that’s what I’ve fallen back upon. Crude, but nothing else seems to work.
I haven’t tried the /wpadmin extension, but it’s worth a look.
Thanks again.
