Inserting text into header
-
Wondering if you can help me please with my blog (Fresh News theme): http://elgarblog.wordpress.com/
On the header, the ‘Elgarblog’ logo and text immediately beneath is all contained within a single image that has been uploaded. I would like to add a text line underneath this (outside the image). Is it possible to do this without the CSS upgrade? I didn’t set up the blog myself. There is currently nothing in the ‘Header’ option; I think the image has been uploaded in Theme Options>General Settings. There is existing text in the ‘Site Title’ and ‘Tagline’ boxes under ‘General Settings’ but I’m not sure that this is showing up.
Many thanks.

Hi, I do not think you can insert text without using some CSS and HTML. If you have gotten the image uploaded, try making an image out the text.

Thanks. I’d really like the text to be outside the image, so I guess I need to go down the CSS route. If I purchase the upgrade so I can edit the CSS, what would I need to add in and where in order to have a line of text under the image in the header?
