inserting the "read more" icon into a post

  I have been unable to insert the “read more” icon into my posts. In edit, i have inserted the read more icon ( the one that looks like a sandwich with a dotted line in between two solid lines) into the story.

  in edit i can see the “read more” and the dotted line indicating where the break will occur. I have hit save and publish but the break to “read more” does not appear in the article that is posted on my blog. Can you help?

  if you go into the edit mode you should be able to see where i tried the insert the read more break….right above this phrase written in BOLD:

  “Knipel: Goldstein’s had “nothing to do” with any meeting”

  seems to have taken this last time even though when i first check i did not see any change maybe there is a certain amount of lag time before the change takes effect. when you go to the site to you see the read more tag.

  cant figure out what, if anything i did differently. i must have tried the exact same thing 10 or i5 times before.
