  If you want to upload and host your video files on your blog, you can do that with VideoPress, which is included with the WordPress.com Premium and WordPress.com Business plans.

  Hi sunsetmangocom,

  You can embed videos by grabbing the “Embed” code from YouTube, and pasting it onto your post.

  Thank you for such a quick response to my question! I have videos of my grandchildren that I took and are on my hard drive that I wanted to post. Seems I need VideoPress if I want to do that. Perhaps I can get a YouTube channel and then use the ‘Embed” code from YouTube. Thank you both for your clear help!!

  That’s the way to go, so you don’t have to pay for VideoPress.
