I am needing to put videos in a website. It is a large file, and I need to know what format is the best for this, and if there is a plugin or should it be in a page?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is not FTP access and we cannot upload plugins. The VideoPress upgrade allows you to upload videos from your computer for hosting and playback directly within your blog. The VideoPress upgrade costs $59.97 per year and per blog, and can be purchased at VideoPress.com or under Store in your Dashboard.

Hi. I upgraded to VideoPress last night and still can’t seem to upload a rather small video. It uploads, but then says “This Video Is Being Processed, It Will Be Available in 5 Minutes.” Then it doesn’t process. Any ideas? Am I missing something? It provides a shortcode for embedding, but when I press insert into post, only the gobblygook of the code appears in my post. It’s frustrating. Can anyone help?

    Hi there,
I don’t have videopress so all I can suggest is that you check out this section and I will flag this thread for Staff attention. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/#frequently-asked-questions

  • boatswana, we support a wide variety of non-proprietary formats, though MP4 video with H.264 encoded video and AAC audio will offer the cleanest conversion. It’s best to just give it a shot, as it will probably work. If you run into trouble, just let us know.

laurarstevens, some videos can take a bit longer than five minutes depending on size and how many people are processing videos at the same time. All of your uploaded videos appear to have finished processing. Are you still having trouble?
