Inserting Widget in to header

  Right now my header is just an image of what I would like it to look like. (http://citizenearth.distributed.cc)

  I am new to editing themes and I’m trying to figure out how to edit the header file so that I achieve the same look. That is, the images along with a social media widget somewhat right of center.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  It looks like you’re actually running a self hosted WordPress site, which is a little different from the WordPress.com hosted sites this particular forum is geared towards.

  I’d recommend posting to the self hosted community forums at http://WordPress.org/support
