For a few months now I’ve been using the free iPhone photo app called Instagram and I’d like to use the links to my photos on instagram’s website and put them into my wordpress blog, but when I try and add the link from a url it won’t allow it for some reason. Can you please allow Instagram links to be posted into WP blogs in the next update?

Also whilst I’m mentioning this could you please also (if you haven’t already) allow the same posting of picture url links on TwitPic too?

http://instagr.am/p/ixNI/ is not a image file URL. That is the URL of the page the image is on. What you have to do is right click on the image, copy the URL of the image and then use that. This is the URL of the image on that page.
On twitpic, again, you have to actually get the URL of the image, NOT the page that it shows on. The image URL will always end in .jpg, .png or .gif .
