  Add Instagram widgets to page, not letting me authorize my account. very irritating because it started working and then randomly stopped.

  Make sure you are logged into Instagram when doing the Instagram widget set up. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php

  Navigate to > Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  Is your Instagram account public? Or is is private, and therefore, blocked when it comes to display of images in the widget on your blog? And, are you logged in when authorizing it?

  This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck.   I have been logged into Instagram, have logged out and back in again and still no luck. Does this have anything to do with it being a free version?? I don’t have a “dashboard” option or “appearance” I got it to work yesterday through the “personalize” > “customize” tabs and then it randomly stopped showing up. Now it won’t let me re add it. Please help

  Thanks guys! I honestly just didnt understand why it was so difficult to get the the dashboard. I couldn’t figure it out for so long, I kept thinking I was there on the edit control panel and was so confused!
