How do I get the Instagram Widget to show only images from a hashtag?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is that ability clearly stated in the relevant support doc at https://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-widget/
If you do not find it stated there then it does not exist.
The Instagram widget allows you to display your latest Instagram photos in your site’s sidebar and the guide for setting up the only one that will work on a wordpress.COM hosted blog is here https://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-widget/
Also, note this support doc
https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibilityIs your Instagram account public? Or is is private, and therefore, blocked when it comes to display of images in the widget on your blog? And, are you logged in when authorizing it?
This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck. The Admin login link for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/*All you need to do is replace NAME_OF_BLOG with your actual blog name in the URL.

Thank you for responding so quickly with so much information. I’ve been through all of those links before posting the question and was hoping someone would have a work-around to only showcase a hashtag feed not one single user.
Since wordpress.com doesn’t allow iframes, you can’t use the custom widgets from some sites. :(
