Instagram access visibility isn't working

Hello,
I am just starting my blog, and I want to connect my Instagram feed with my blog. I have sign on Instagram but when I go back to WordPress to authorize it nothing happens. Please help.

Make sure you are logged into Instagram when doing the widget set up.
The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck. Thank you so much for your help. Unfortunately it still isn’t working. I am logged in on Instagram and the visibility seems like is thinking, but nothing appears. I clicked on the page you sent me and try to do what it says but my Instagram doesn’t appear. I don’t know what to do.

Hi @stylethisgal, can you try adding the widget here?
https://stylethisgal.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.phpNormally I recommend adding through the Customizer but Instagram’s authorization can get stuck there.

Alternatively:
1) Click Add a Widget to add the Instagram widget.
2) Click Save & Publish to activate the widget first.
3) THEN click Authorize Instagram Access.
