Hi,
why did sometimes the widget shows the hashtags in a line covering my articles like the photo below?
I try reducing the number of hashtags or their lenght but it didn’t work.

hi,

I have tagged modlook for a Staff to help you with this.
Thank you for your patience while they get back to you.

• Hi @emutofu, you’re seeing the screen reader text. Normally it’s pushed off the screen, but for whatever reason it’s overflowing for your images.

Did the problem start when you shared this image or has it happened more frequently?

I ask because if I remove that one from the code, the problem seems to go away.

It happened twice before, with other posts. I tried to understand why but I can’t find a solution (as I said I tried to modify some hashtags or removing some of them) . What can I do if this problem happens again?

• @emutofu I’m still troubleshooting; can you tell me whether the problem started when you added that picture?

• Basically i’m not sure yet why it is happening, I’m trying to figure it out, and hopefully more information will help :D

Yes, it started when I added the picture but it’s not the first time, it happens twice with other ones during the last weeks. I can’t find a modus operandi of this bug. Unfortunately I can’t remember which old posts cause this problem in the past weeks.

• When you write your Instagram descriptions, are you copying and pasting from another program (like Word or a web page) or just typing it out?

It’s a long shot but I’m wondering if you’re getting some odd characters in the instagram stuff.

I’d also like to file a bug but I’ll need a little more information so I can duplicate this :)

• @emutofu just noting we see the issue now. In my troubleshooting I was thinking in terms of pixels, but the issue is actually the number of characters you’re using.

If you’re using really long descriptions (over 1000 characters for example), there’s a possibility for an overflow.

We’ll be working on a fix, but I hope that helps for now. You can also use your widget settings to display fewer images for now, so the offending image won’t show up. Then just use shorter descriptions moving forward (the other images’ description lengths seem to be okay) until we write back here with a fix.

I copy the texts from the facebook page.
As I said I don’t have more information but I’ll pay more attention with the next posts in order to give you more data.
