Instagram Feed Plugin

  I added a photography section to my blog and instead of needing to update the blog with my most recent photos, I want my Instagram account to update live on the post. I found a plugin to do that, but WordPress.com does not allow adding new plugins.

  Who else would find this plug in helpful for WordPress.com to add? https://wordpress.org/plugins/instagram-feed/installation/

  Are you aware of the Instagram widget?

  Make sure you are logged into Instagram when doing the widget set up.
  The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  Is your Instagram account public? Or is is private, and therefore, blocked when it comes to display of images in the widget on your blog? And, are you logged in when authorizing it?

  This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck.
