instagram hashtag feed

  I would like to include an Instagram hashtag feed on my website and can’t figure out how to do so. I have the free (wordpress.com hosted) site. Is it possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you referring to the Instagram widget?

  Make sure you are logged into Instagram when doing the Instagram widget set up. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php

  Navigate to > Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  Is your Instagram account public? Or is is private, and therefore, blocked when it comes to display of images in the widget on your blog? And, are you logged in when authorizing it?

  This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck.   Thanks for your response, timethief.

  I have looked into this extensively and don’t think I am able with the wordpress.COM site. I am able to run my Instagram feed on the site with no issues, in fact, it is currently working great. Instead, I was looking for a way to run a feed of only photos with a particular hashtag. I wanted some second-grade students to post hashtagged photos and have them show up in one place and NOT need an Instagram account to see them.
