Instagram Latest Posts block will not connect (stuck on ‘connecting’ message)

Hello there,
I am having trouble getting the Instagram latest posts block to display. When I add it I get a little window open up with the message ‘Latest Instagram Posts’, and a button that tells me to connect my IG account, which when clicked reads ‘Connecting…’ without me entering any connection information. But then it just sticks in that state, never actually connecting to anything.I looked on my WordPress.com account under tools, and the social media connections, and connected my instagram account via there, and tried again, but it did nothing. So I disconnected it and tried again, but it’s still failing to connect or give me any further options. Please can anybody help?

OK, I don’t know how or why, but despite me trying to do this for three weeks the second I posted this topic it suddenly connected.
This happened when my washing machine broke down and the second the engineer arrived, boom, magically fixed.
OK… Well, keep your fingers crossed that I can keep it working, and please ignore that this ever happened…

Is there a way to connect more than one Instagram account to separate instances of the IG latests posts block so that I could (for example) display my gardening IG posts on one page on my site and my handmade IG posts on another page of my site?

Normally you should be able to have a couple of connected accounts:
