Instagram photos display with instagram border
-
I have followed these instructions on how to insert instagram photos into a blog post.
My instagram photos are coming up looking with an instagram frame around them as per this post on my blog.
I used the shortcode [instagram url=link width=500].
This is the first post I have done with instagram photos. I started this post earlier last week and I’m sure the photos weren’t displaying with this frame when I previewed it then.
How do I remove the instagram frame.
I have added the instagram widget and these display fine.
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I know what you mean. I was struggling with the same problem. I ended up using another solution that involves using an iframe code generated from InstaEmbedder.com. I was able to automatically display the latest instagram photo and custom the gallery, including removing the frame altogether =D
The code looks something like this:
<iframe id="iframecode" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" width="536" src="http://instaembedder.com/gallery.php?username=chiqbelle&hashtag=&width=150&cols=3&frame=1&image_border=10&rows=4&cell_margin=10&display_username=0&likes=1&comments=1&date=1&link=1&caption=0&color=gray" style="height: 804px;"></iframe> -

@ubccsa
Are you aware that there are different kinds of wordpress? and what works in one sort won’t (necessarily) work in another. -
Since about 2 weeks ago, all instagram embeds on WordPress.com now appear with the official instagram frame.
Here’s the background thread that I was involved in when the change when live: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/problem-with-instagram-image-embedding?replies=8

Thanks Jennifer.
I don’t like the way these photos display when you have multiple photos in a blog post but love how easy it is to post them in. I’ll have to to make a choice.

I’m using Flickr instead and now that I figured out how to use the app (which is not obvious) I’m liking it. And you can embed flickr slideshows too.

@suesmu-by the way, no one says you have to use the instagram embed to display your photos. If the image is stored on your camera, you can just upload it directly to your site. I use dropbox for this. No instagram involved.
