  is there an instagram plugin to wordpress.com?
  and if not, why not?

  for individual pics yes. but i would like a “general” url/link to my instagram account..?

  You can capture an image, upload it and then link it to your instagram account and display that in either an image widget or a text widget in your sidebar.

  thanx timethief, but… i have an instagram account that i would like to link to my wordpress.com blog. for visitors to access the pics i have on instagram. (not a single picture but my instagram site)

  To be crystal clear about this there is no FTP access and we bloggers cannot install any plugins on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

  You can do as I explained above. Or you can create a custom menu and include custom link to your instagram site as a menu item.

  Dear Timethief, once more…
  i actually don’t think i need a plug-in, a simple paste of the url to my instagram would do fine… however “the insert/edit link” (alt+shift+a) seems to be greyed/inactivated on my pages. and for some odd reason the same goes for some of my posts, but not all! thus, how do i activate that function/button??
