@viper007bond- I’ve added the Instagram widget on my site which uses Triton Lite and I can’t seem to create 2 columns in the widget. I wonder if this discussion is pertinent. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/instagram-embed-widths?replies=8#post-1270568

Thanks, Alex, but it’s not just about me. :) Hopefully others are having more success at customizing the new widget.

Thanks for making instagram widget. I’m new to wordpress ( i used to blog in blogger) and i absolutely love the flexibility it provides.
The widget works great, i’m currently using Oxygen theme :)

The issue you’re experiencing is specific to the theme you’re using. Some styling from the theme is overriding the widget’s styling that is supposed to align it into two columns. :)

Can anyone help me with the sizing of my new instagram widget? No matter how many images or columns I input it is still stretching too long when viewing on internet explorer browzer. Here’s a link to my blog :

Thanks Nikki -
@styleandinfluence I took a look and everything is working properly.
Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?
Otherwise please try clearing out your browser cache.
Thank you.

Thanks Kardotim, it only seems to be happening in Internet Explorer, I cleared the cache but it hasn’t made any different. I guess it’s just unlucky for those using explorer!
Thanks for taking a look.

Could you send us a screenshot of the page where you’re seeing this? You can upload the screenshot to your blog’s media library.
Thank you.

Hi there, I have uploaded a screenshot into my media library. let me know if anything else is needed.
thanks again, Nikki

That certainly doesn’t look right. What version of Internet Explorer are you using?
Do you also see this issue at http://csonnektesting.com/ ?
-
@justjennifer: I’ve added a fix that should resolve the issue with Triton Lite.
@styleandinfluence: It looks correct for me in Internet Explorer 10 as well as it’s IE7, IE8, and IE9 modes (although those modes don’t 100% replicate the older versions of IE). There’s a chance that I just fixed it as a side effect of fixing the issue that justjennifer was seeing though in her theme. Can you let me know if you’re still seeing the issue, and if so what version of IE you’re using?
-
No, the shortcode and widget are entirely separate and work in completely different ways. That said I did write some code to make that work as well. :)

@kardotim Sorry for the delay in response, I am back at the PC with IE, it is Internet Explorer 8 and I can also see the issue is the same on the test page.
@viper007bond I have IE8, the problem is still occurring.
