instagram, twitter and pinterest buttons

    Hi there,

I can get my instagram, twitter and pinterest plugins to appear near the top of my page. I have added the URLs as menu’s in the “custom new menus” section, but how do I get them to appear as links?

    Thank you,
    Margaret

    Hi there Margaret!

Your theme, Broadsheet, allows you to add links to your Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Tumblr accounts in that top menu (not Twitter or Instagram). To do this you must first connect these services to Publicize. Go to Settings → Sharing, and add connections to your accounts.

Once those are all connected, navigate to the Customizer, where you’ll find a new Connect panel. Select the account(s) you want to link to, and their respective icons will be displayed.

If there are social networking buttons that your theme doesn’t allow in the top menu, you may wish to add those to your sidebar in this manner:

I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
