instagram widget
-
Hello,
I am currently working on setting up my blog, and am looking to set up widgets on my page to pull in additional information. I am working in the footer area 1 and am trying to add the instagram widget to pull in my photos. There is a big button in the middle of the widget that says ‘authorize instagram access’. When I click it, it takes me to a big blank screen with nothing on it. Is it supposed to actually do something? I tried refreshing the blank screen, thinking it would force it to do something, adn it said loading the customizer, but then it just took me back to the widget where I originally started.
Then I looked below the button and it says ‘Having trouble? Try logging into the correct account on Instagram.com first.’. I did login from that link, and i am now logged into Instagram. I looked at my blog though, and it still says ‘In order to use this Instagram widget, you must configure it first.’. Not sure what to do from here.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Good Morning digitalsusie –
Yikes! Let’s get this straightened around for you. Can you tell me which browser you’re using? Does clearing your browser cache help?
Another option is to configure the widget from the classic wp-admin dashboard. This link will get you there: https://digitalsusie.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php Click and drag the Instagram widget to the designated area on the right.
I’ll be happy to answer any follow up questions.
