Instagram Widget

I am trying to add the Instagram widget to my blog. I go to themes- customize-widgets-add widget- instagram- and when I click to authorize Instagram (which I have logged into in another window in the browser). It loads to a blank page and when I refresh it, I am back to the start. Will you please assist me with this?

Some issues that you encounter with your WordPress.com blog or account can be solved by changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies.You can follow those directions here

Make sure you are logged into Instagram when doing the widget set up.
The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

Navigate to > Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets

This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck. The instructions from this guide are referring to the WP Admin dashboard. You can get to this dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s url (e.g.: example.wordpress.com/wp-admin) -
