Instagram Widget

  Hi there,
  I’m trying to add my Instagram feed onto my side bar widget area, I’ve followed the instructions correctly numerous times. But when I go to click the authorize my account and it should take me to the login in page as shown in the video, the page link crashes leaving me with a blank screen. I’ve tried waiting for 10 minutes to see if the page loads and refreshing the page just takes me back to the customize area. Can anyone help?

  This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck.

  The instructions from this guide are referring to the WP Admin dashboard. You can get to this dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s url (e.g.: example.wordpress.com/wp-admin)

  Also, please note the following (from the support document above).

  Authorizing the widget:
  To do so, first log into your Instagram account in another tab in your browser. After logging into Instagram.com, return to the Instagram widget in your Customizer and click Authorize Instagram Access. This step grants WordPress.com access to your Instagram account, so we can retrieve your latest images.
