Instagram widget

  Hello I am trying to add the instagram widget to my sidebar. It’s asking me to ‘Authorize Instagram Access.’ When I click on the button to authorize, it doesn’t even take me to another page. What do I do?

  Hi, I’m having the same issue! I’ve even tried using different browsers (Chrome, Safari) and I’ve made sure that I’m already logged in to Instagram.

  Hi there- If you are trying to authorize Instagram from within the Customizer tool, users have reported difficulties with that. Please try adding the Instagram widget and authorizing it from within the WP Admin Widgets dashboard here https://*yourusername*.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php (replacing *yourusername* with your own WP subdomain).

  If you still need assistance with this, please let us know.

  For the future, you may want to search for earlier forum threads with the same problem. Note the tag I added in the Tags section in the forum thread sidebar? You can use that in the search bar at the top of the forum pages. :)

  Hello and thank you so very much for your help and replies. I found that instead of clicking on the button that says, “Authorize Instagram Access,” (which didn’t do anything) you should try opening it in a new tab via right click/ control click. A new page will open and you should be able to authorize it from there. I hope this helps. Thank you!
