Instagram widget

Hello I tried adding the Instagram Widget, but the first time it confirmed my account it just went to the main page and didn’t add Instagram. I tried it a few more times, but now it won’t even ask to confirm my account (as if it was already linked) and it takes me back again to the main page and doesn’t add it to widgets. What can I do?

I’ve helped a few people with this issue so hopefully it’s the same fix for you. What worked for me was to click on “Save & Publish” if you are trying to add the Instagram widget from Appearance > Customize > Widgets first. After you select the Instagram widget in the desired widget area and click on “Save & Publish” at the very top left corner, you will be able to go back and click on “Authorize Instagram Access.” If you are already logged in, it should pop up and appear after you save it. That did the trick for me. Hope that helps you!
