Instagram Widget not working

Hi,
I changed my Instagram username and I wanted to update it on my wordpress since it is showing that I have it all wrong, but every time I click on ‘authorize account’ it does not do anything. I clear cache and cookies and rebooted my computer but the it still does not do anything.
What can I do?

It’s never fun when technology does not do what we want is it?
Did you try removing then reinstalling the widget? That would be the next thing i would try, since you already cleared the cache and cookies.
I am sure you already know how to do it but i will give you the link so you have it to look at while doing this.

Make sure you are logged into Instagram when doing the Instagram widget set up. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

Navigate to > Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets

This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck.
