instagram widget not working

  The instagram widget is not working on my blog–the motif is theme I believe. my blog is betweencitiesblog.wordpress.com

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  just to follow that up–when i try to add it, i’m asked to authorize it, and then it goes to a different screen, seems to recognize it, but then goes back to wordpress and it is not on my widget list. then i go back to add it again and go through the same situation over again.

  Hi Laura,

  I just loaded up a test blog using the Motif theme and could not replicate the problem the with instagram widget.

  Just to try a different flow, could you try logging out of Instragram first?
  Then add the widget. When you click authorize, you’ll be brought to a login screen that looks like this:

  Let me know if you still get caught in that loop following that order — and if you see anything unusual, please grab a screenshot, upload it to your media library, and send me a link to view it.

  hi Alex,
  sorry for the big delay but it is still not working.. whenever i click authorize it just refreshes and takes me back to the original screen where i need to add a widget [except that most of my widgets look like they haven’t been added then, but they’re still there]
  any ideas?
  i’ll add the before/after shots to my media library

  Hi Laura,

  I see what you mean now, I’ve now been able to replicate this issue when adding the instagram widget from the Customizer.

  I’ll alert the development team of this issue.

  For now, can you visit your blog’s widget settings in the dashboard?

  Glad that worked. :)

  The Customizer is easier for most people to use, but the Dashboard settings come in handy sometimes!
