Instagram widget not working

Add topic to favorites
My instagram account isn’t connecting to my blog. It’s not authorized even when i hit “Authorize Instagram Access” button. When I click the button the page just hangs and doesn’t respond. Help! Thanks in advanced =)

If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.

(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

I’m having this problem. When I click the button to authorize, nothing at all happens. I’m using a Macintosh OS X 10.9.5, and Chrome 40.0.2214.94.

I actually figured it out! Instead of going directly to “Customize”, click on WP Admin instead. Then go to Appearance > Widgets > then add the Instagram widget to your desired Sidebar.

Thank you for this Christyluong71. It’s a shame wordpress haven’t been proactive in fixing the issue on the customize page though!
