instagram widget problems

  Hello, please can you help? I’m trying to get my Instagram feed on my blog, but when I do Customiser/widgets/sidebar/add widget/Instagram/authorise Instagram access I click on the blue authorise button, get an alert asking if I want to leave the page, click yes and then nothing happens and I can’t seem to get beyond that point. Would appreciate any advice, thanks

  Are you logged into instagram when you do this or not?

  If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

  If you are not successful and have to tag this thread with modlook for Staff please post:
  (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
  (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

  I just found a comment in a thread that maybe helpful:

  I actually figured it out! Instead of going directly to “Customize”, click on WP Admin instead. Then go to Appearance > Widgets > then add the Instagram widget to your desired Sidebar.
