Instagram Widget Saying ‘No Photos Were Found’
-
I have added the insta widget to my site and have linked my account, but my site says no photos were found. I have photos on my instagram, and both accounts are linked, so I don’t know what the problem is.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi kennedyagilbert,
I recommend watching the video and reading through the instructions in this support document to ensure it isn’t an issue with the setup process: https://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-widget/
Let us know if you need any further support :)

I am having the same issue. I only noticed it today but I am not sure how long it has been happening. I have been using the Instagram widget for years with no issues. Today it says “No Instagram images were found” where the widget usually sits. I checked my settings for the widget and it is still authorized, and same on the Instagram side of things. I even removed the widget and revoked access and added it again to see if it would refresh things, but it still says “No Instagram images were found” instead of the normal widget displaying on my site.

hi,
This is the second Instagram widget issue I have seen this week.
I have tagged modlook for a Staff to help you with this.

Your Instagram widget is working fine for me, and I can see the four most recent images from your Instagram profile in the sidebar of your site.
If I view your Instagram profile at https://www.instagram.com/matthewpilon/ it says your profile is private. Images from a private profile can only be viewed directly on the Instagram website or app by people you’ve approved, and cannot be displayed on other services like WordPress.com as a private profile does not have a public feed.
-
I am aware that my actual Instagram account is private, however, the feed of recent pictures has always worked/displayed on my WordPress site without issue, and I have never changed any of my privacy settings.
Have there been any changes to the widget recently that would cause this to stop working?

matthewpilon –
Have you enabled any new browser extensions or updated browser versions recently? What do you see if you look from a different browser all together?
Clearing your cache may help.

I’m not sure what happened but it’s visible again. Maybe when I reauthorized the widget it refreshed things but took some time to kick in. It seems to be working again on the 3 separate browsers I have tried.
Thank you for your assistance in trying to figure things out.
