Install a new theme

  Why don’t I have the option to upload a new theme on my dashboard? I found some instructions on how to install the Genesis framework and a child theme, and I do not see an ‘Appearance’ option or an option to upload a new theme.

  Hi there,

  It’s not possible to upload and install custom themes, like Genesis, on WordPress.com sites.

  They can only be installed on sites using the self-hosted version of WordPress from WordPress.org.

  There are ~380 themes available for WordPress.com sites, which can be found at https://wordpress.com/themes
