Install A Website Not A Blog

  Hi,

  Would like to do a new install of a Website and not a Blog. I have been to the sign up for the free account on WordPress.com, located at:
  https://en.wordpress.com/signup/

  The heading of that page is: “Get your own WordPress.com account in seconds”. When I go there it states “Fill out this one-step form and you’ll be blogging seconds later!”. However, I do not want a Blog, I want a Website.

  I can previously remember going to WordPress and being offered the choice of a Blog or a Website. How do I get a WordPress account, and sign up for the free account on WordPress.com, for a Website and not a Blog?

  Would appreciate some assistance.

  A blog is a website. There aren’t two different types, you just configure your site differently to use it as a website and don’t include posts or post related pages. You use “pages” instead.
