  Have you tried using the Calendar Widget: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/calendar-widget/
  or embedding a Google Calendar? https://en.support.wordpress.com/google-calendar/

  Hello,

  I am aware of both options, but I wanted an editorial calendar. That doesn’t seem possible on WordPress.com.

  Hi there.
  Only the Business Plan has the possibility to add Google Analytics as an additional plugin. Otherwise we cannot add to the plugins that are already built in to the WordPress.com platform.
