Install GA4 tag on WordPress

    Hi there,

I am a student and I am trying to learn how to use Google Analytics 4 with a site built on WordPress.

I am trying to install GA4 on my recently created free WordPress site by pasting the tag ID.

It seems I am forced to upgrade to a business plan. I am no business and can barely afford to pay 40EUR/month.

    Do you offer an alternative?

The site wasn’t created for commercial purposes, not will it be monetised. I am just trying to learn and practice on a live environment.

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Best.

  • Hello there,

While the Business Plan does provide extra SEO Tools, it is possible to connect Google Analytics on a Premium Plan.

If you would prefer to switch to that, we can assist.

Please note that a Business Plan is necessary for adding plugins or custom themes. Another option would be to pay annually, which results in significant savings over the course of a year.

Please feel free to reply to this message if you have any other questions.

    Thanks!
