Install Plugin Access – Administrator
-
Hi, I really need help installing plugins on a paid site. I am an administrator, but I do not have access to add a plugin. We have a multisite account, so I am thinking this is the problem. I see ‘keymaster’ under two of the users (one of whom doesn’t work for the organization anymore). I do not see ‘super user’ as an option. Can you provide insight? Many thanks in advance!

Hi there,
Please share the site URL.
Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the open-source WordPress.org software, we won’t be able to help you out and you’ll want to seek help at these forums:

Also, I am tagging this thread as modlook so staff can help you.

Hi there,
The WordPress.com account you’re using to post here is not a user on any site hosted with us, and it’s not possible to host multisite networks on WordPress.com, so it sounds like you’re on a multisite network hosted somewhere else. We have no control over sites not on our servers.
You’ll need to contact a superadmin user on the network for help with this, as they control whether or not admins on individual sites in a network can do stuff like install plugins.
You can find general advice on the WordPress software you’re using at the link provided above, but you’ll need help from a network admin with this one.

Thank you both so much– I was able to get support from MediaTemple. You are appreciated!
