  Is your website now on WordPress.com?

  To be able to install plugins you need to upgrade to Business plan.
  In case necessary, here is some info about installing plugins: https://wordpress.com/support/plugins/

  Add a new domain is possible on free plan, however your visitors will be redirected to current free website address, like currrent-website.wordpress.com. If you upgrade to the Personal plan, you will always see a new domain name in browsers address bar, there will be no “.wordpress.com”.
