Install SSL certificate

    I purchased an SSL certificate from my hosting.
    Wordpress asks me to upgrade my website in order to download the plug-in with which I can install it.
    Does anyone have experience in this field?
    Why do I have to pay to install SSL certicificaat?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Then your site must be self-hosted WordPress.org site.

    The blog I need help with is studiopepacanel.wordpress.com.

    Are you sure the website you need help with is this site which you’ve mentioned?

    If your website is using self-hosted version of WordPress I would suggest you to try seeking help at WordPress.org Forum: https://wordpress.org/forum

    Firstly, it is very important to understand the difference between
    WordPress.com and WordPress.org, please visit our support document that will tell you the difference between:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    If your site is hosted by WordPress.com then you do not need to install SSL certificate because it’s already available for free for everyone.

    WordPress asks me to upgrade my website in order to download the plug-in with which I can install it.

    If your site is hosted by WordPress.com then in order to install custom Themes & Plugins, you need to upgrade your site with a Business plan which allows you to do that.
