install statcode?
-
I would like to install code from a statcounter program more detailed than WP´s own statistics.
I have the com, not org.version and apparantly I should be able to put the code in a widget? Which one? All widgets on my theme are not writeble. Where do I find the index-htmlpage? I also want the statcounter to be unvisible. Greatful for some help!

First, make sure you use the plain HTML code rather than the javascript code. Javascript is not allowed here due to security concerns.

Thankyou. The problem is I cannot write or paste anything at all in ihe “textbox”widget. It opens and says “edit” but the box is unwriteble.

What browser are you using? That had been an issue with IE up until the last upgrade.
Try this, if you have not. Add the text widget to the sidebar under appearance > widgets. Then click the “save changes” button. Then click the edit button and see if you can paste into the text widget.

Seems the boxes are leading a life of their own:=, sometimes it works to write and edit, sometimes not. Thanks for helping me out!
Do you know how I can make the icon invisable? Also, when I add any new widgets the ones that were there from the beginning dissapears, have any idea why that is?
Thanks again! -
If you haven’t yet added any widgets, then what you are seeing is a sample set that is there to let you know what things will look like with widgets. When you add a widget, the sample set will disappear. Simply add in the widgets that you want to use in the sidebar and then make sure and click “save changes.”

As for making the icon invisible, if you’re talking about Statcounter then you get that option when you create your project. You can also change it afterwards: click on the wrench icon next to your project name, then click “Configure Counter”.
