install theme

  I don’t succeed in installing a theme that I have bought from the site http://www.dessign.net/

  in my dashboard there isn’t the option “install themes” where I can upload the theme.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  We do not have FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs . Hence we have are not able to upload third party themes.

  The only themes you can use on a free hosted WordPress.com blog are those found here > Appearance > Themes and showcased here > http://wordpress.com/themes/ We cannot access and edit any templates underlying our themes. Only Staff can edit as every blog wearing the same theme is using the same template.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes this. To upload themes you need to hire a web host and set up a WordPress.ORG install. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  But the site where have bought the theme is a site of theme for wordpress!
  does it mean what time that l I have bought, have I thrown 40 dollars? as it is possible that you don’t check this thing?

  Yes indeed it is for a WordPress.ORG install.
  It is not for a free hosted WordPress>COM blog like http://giuliacarpignoliphotography.wordpress.com/

  You have two choices. return the theme and use this free hosted WordPress.com blog http://giuliacarpignoliphotography.wordpress.com/ and one of the themes on it found here > http://wordpress.com/themes/

  Or keep the theme and hire a web host and set up yopur own WordPress.ORG install.

  You have no other options.
