Install Theme

  So I can install a theme, need to buy wordpress. With the premium package I can install a theme you’ve downloaded on your computer? (http://store.wordpress.com/bundles/) I already have the domain and hosting (from another site), and do not know which package I need to be able to install the theme.

  That’s not possible here. There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install plugins.

  FTP access, plugins and third party themes are available only for VIP bloggers http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ or for those with WordPress.ORG installs.

  You are posting to the wrong support forum. To get support for any site that’s not free hosted by WordPress.com if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  Also note that upgrades offered by WordPress.com are available only for use on with free hosted WordPress.COM blogs.

  As I have never paid when I try to enter appearance> theme appears only the tab “manage themes”, I was wondering if paying the premium wordpress appear the tab “Install theme”

  We do not have FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we not able to upload third party themes.

  The only themes you can use on a free hosted WordPress.com blog are those found here > Appearance > Themes and showcased here > http://wordpress.com/themes/
